They lit up the dark along Jackson Park On the First of May. Emeline (1893 - ) (recorded July 22, 2021 – August 9, 2021) "The future is here, the Midway Plaisance makes clear," all the people say. And I'm waiting for my Emma, who is staying on 63rd. I've waited all night in the White City's light - but she hasn't been seen or heard. We took a ride on the Ferris Wheel, then the Travelator took us down to Eastern sounds on a glockenspiel and Little Egypt in her necklace and gown. And I'm waiting for my Emma, who is staying on 63rd. And I'm looking for the reason She's not been seen or heard. All I want to do is find my Emeline. I've searched from 67th up to Fullerton and Racine. All that I can see is Emeline on her own. You know it isn't safe for a girl in the city alone. I decided to go to 63rd and Lowe to try to find Emeline. The landlord was there he took away the air and that's the last that I was heard or seen. And I'm waiting for my Emma, who's been gone 100 years today. And I'm cursed to search Chicago until the world has passed away.

Your faith's gone love's lost hope died. There's so much anger implied. There's wasteland in your inside. Your head spins, ears ache, mouth dry. Your word said, lies told, no pride. The time has come now to decide. There's so much unsaid you hide. Your smiles faked, soul ached, mind cried. Counting time that you bide. At life's end fake friends deride. There's wasteland in your inside. Wasteland, Part 1 (recorded September 27 – October 15, 2020) You only saw what you wanted to see. You only became the things that you said you would never be. You should have fought while you still hand the chance. But now your life is a lie where you jump when they call the dance. In the wasteland, treading quicksand.

Eisenhower’s Farewell Address to the Nation Good evening, my fellow Americans. First, I should like to express my gratitude to the radio and television networks for the opportunities they have given me over the years to bring reports and messages to our nation. My special thanks go to them for the opportunity of addressing you this evening. Three days from now, after half century in the service of our country, I shall lay down the responsibilities of office as, in traditional and solemn ceremony, the authority of the Presidency is vested in my successor. We now stand ten years past the midpoint of a century that has witnessed four major wars among great nations. Three of these involved our own country. Despite these holocausts, America is today the strongest, the most influential, and most productive nation in the world. Understandably proud of this pre-eminence, we yet realize that America's leadership and prestige depend, not merely upon our unmatched material progress, riches, and military strength, but on how we use our power in the interests of world peace and human betterment. Throughout America's adventure in free government, our basic purposes have been to keep the peace, to foster progress in human achievement, and to enhance liberty, dignity, and integrity among peoples and among nations. Any failure traceable to arrogance, or our lack of comprehension, or readiness to sacrifice would inflict upon us grievous hurt, both at home and abroad. But threats, new in kind or degree, constantly arise. Our military organization today bears little relation to that known of any of my predecessors in peacetime, or, indeed, by the fighting men of World War II or Korea. Until the latest of our world conflicts, the United States had no armaments industry. American makers of plowshares could, with time and as required, make swords as well. But we can no longer risk emergency improvisation of national defense. We have been compelled to create a permanent armaments industry of vast proportions. Added to this, three and a half million men and women are directly engaged in the defense establishment. We annually spend on military security alone more than the net income of all United States cooperations -- corporations. Now this conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence -- economic, political, even spiritual -- is felt in every city, every Statehouse, every office of the Federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet, we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists.

Seems you saw through different eyes And you knew they’d never compromise While they were winning. Took a chance and broke the rules Showed their world was run thieves and fools From the beginning. All the crooked stuff they do, All the blame they tried to pin on you - But we know better. Such a grandiose disgrace How I wish I could have seen their face reading your letter. Seen through eyes of amber, Seen through eyes of blue. Seen through eyes unclouded, seeing what is true. Seen through eyes of amber, lost in deep disguise. A prison seems a paradise ’til seen through different eyes. Such a futile exercise Seems the old will never realize And kids just don’t care It’s a nuanced point of view Never understood by people who Have never been there. Can you see the world again? It’s an open page!

Life, what have you done to me? Given my eyes More than I want to see. Now, floating out on the Black Sea. Wondering how All of this came to be. You only did... What you had to do. You've done it until There's nothing left of you. You always knew... What it's all about. You've gone so far in - Now there's no way out. I loved you in my own way. Whatever that means, I know it's late to say. Now, watching the clock running fast. The sky's growing dark. The wasteland is here at last. You only did... What you had to do. You've done it until There's nothing left of you. You always knew... What it's all about. You've gone so far in - Now there's no way out. You gave your life to play the role. It took the sum of your self control To sell your soul... For life. You lived your life like the setting sun. Digging your heels when you wanted to run. The wasteland's come... For life.

I regret the past And every vote I ever cast. If there's a bright spot I see There's not much voting left for me. I'm a part of a generation That no one cared about. I didn't slide in the mud at Woodstock Or march in the street and shout. I was chasing the easy life like the money was keeping score But I was young and stupid then And I'm not young... anymore. The things some people believe have always made me want to leave. In every place that I'd see... the grass seemed greener there to me. You and I are a generation who did as we were told. Working all of our youth away with the hope to relax when we're old. We were chasing the easy life Like the money was keeping score. But we were young and stupid then And we're not young... anymore. We're all a part of a generation that lived its life in doubt. Making livings the best we could because we knew of no better way out. We were chasing the easy life Like the money was keeping score But we were young and stupid then And we're not young... anymore.

He runs his fingers on her skin, Awaiting music to begin. The carnal promise, Their favorite sin. They long to be as one again. As the darkness unfolds, And the light fades away. There is heat in the dance, And passions they obey. They hear the music play, She says: “держи меня!” He loves to hear her say: “Я обожаю тебя!” They move as one upon the floor. Knowing they both want so much more. He feels her shiver, Hands on her hips, The reddest rose between her lips. As the darkness unfolds, And the light fades away. There is heat in the dance, And passions they obey. They hear the music play, She says: “держи меня!” He loves to hear her say: “Я обожаю тебя!” They hear the music play, She says: “держи меня!” He loves to hear her say: “Я обожаю тебя!”

As I was walking down Садо'вая улица, I saw a girl who wasn't there. I still recall her perfume drifting slowly through the air. When I awoke some hours later in the dark, my ears were echoing applause. I saw the girl who wasn't there and asked her who she was? Agent Микровольновка! Ми - кро вал - нов - ка... Ми - кро вал - нов - ка... Ми - кро вал - нов - ка... Ми - кро вал... She'll be there with you! будешь гулять по парку ночью, буду я скрываться из виду. Когда фейерверк загорится на Красной площади, я буду там. Вся красота Третьяков, я красавица твоих снов. Везде и во всем, что делаешь - я буду с тобой! And so I left the room alone and wandered home - past everywhere we'd ever been. I searched my soul and wondered if we'd ever meet again. Agent Микровольновка! Ми - кро вал - нов - ка... Ми - кро вал - нов - ка... Ми - кро вал - нов - ка... Ми - кро вал... She'll be there with you! Ми - кро вал - нов - ка... Ми - кро вал - нов - ка... Ми - кро вал - нов - ка... Ми - кро вал... She'll be there with you!

Everything you hear and see hammers home a new reality ...wishing things were how they used to be. Everything they say and do blaming folks who think or look like you. Make a plan to leave this land today. Another country Always in your mind Another country Another one behind Everyone you ever knew far away and calling out to you. Wondering what there is that you can do. Find a home and find a job. Find a way to dodge the mindless mob saying here there is no home for you. Here - where they welcomed you Here - it can happen too On the screen and on the street, growing anger driving up the heat. Blaming folks who dress or pray like you. Nothing starts except to end. Everything that ends begins again. Another country looms ahead again. Laugh if you want, but you know the joke's on you. Doubt if you like, but deep down you know it's true.

Ippolit Georgievich: You're always saying that my instincts are wrong. And when I try to explain, I get the same old song. Nadya Vasilyevna: You don’t appreciate the things that I do. And I don’t know any second just who I’m talking to. Ippolit: You never say what you think or feel. I don't know what's wrong when you won't get real. Nadya: You know I’m fragile and I change every day. You need to be a lot more careful with the things that you say. Memory Eternal (recorded September 12 – 22, 2021) Chorus: Stop! Think about it! Before you choose another path and move on. Stop! Think about it! It isn't long before our love will be gone. Ippolit: You won't move on from all the stuff we've been through. You have to pick at the wound until I'm miserable too. Nadya: I wonder deep inside just what you believe. Are you happy to stay, or do you wish you could leave. Chorus: Free your mind while there's time. Free your head - Don't be led! Nadya: Are you leaving? Are you grieving? Still believing Mem'ry eternal Chorus: Are you leaving? Are you grieving? Still believing in me? Speak your mind - Waste your time! Nadya: You want your freedoms. Who am I to keep them? If you want your freedom, then let it be so.

In a theater on a stage, Sits a man of indeterminate age. People running out in fear. He gave them clothes, then made them disappear - The Devil’s here! Hope you get a gift from Azaze’llo. Hope you don’t believe Koro’vyev’s lies. Hope you never fall in love with Ella when the witchs’ coven flies. If you keep your head in front of Woland. You may get to dance at the Good Friday Ball. But you’d better beware of Behemoth when the devil comes to call. In a basement far away The Master writing down his passion play. Margarita at the door. Pontius Pilate trying evermore - to fix the score. And at Good Friday’s Ball you’ll see Frieda — holding for eternity the handkerchief that was to be the end of her maternity. And Margarita’s sympathy Is given to her readily. From all the guests who kissed her knee, she got the chance to set one free. And at the Good Friday Ball And at the Good Friday Ball And at the Good Friday Ball And at the Good Friday Ball And at the Good Friday Ball And at the Good Friday Ball

F.M.M.L. 03:26
Oceans - embrace and drag us below We're caught in the tide's flow and fishing nets they throw. Forgive me, my love. Tired - too tired for thinking highbrow. We need to get air somehow, but we're trapped beneath these waves now. Forgive me, my love. Soaking - but I feel our clothes are drying. Like our love, I feel them tightening, And I feel the sun is dying. Forgive me, my love. Silence - where you can't hear a clock or a bird. I turned off my heart when I heard. And in sand - as in bronze - now interred. Forgive me, my love. Forgive me, my love. Forgive me, my love.
